The 35 Deep-V Center Console

A genuine high-performance, tournament-ready offshore fishing platform!

The Island Runner 35 outperforms the competition in every way: performance, economy, value, features and good looks. The balance of this boat is incredible. It responds to the helm without hesitation and does exactly what you expect it to in any conditions. Powered by twin or triple outboards, this boat can do it all, at the top of the pack in either configuration. Look at the list of standard features and compare it to the competition. The Island Runner 35 is the ultimate performer in its class, with outstanding value and quality.

Each Island Runner® is built with a solid foam core construction using 100% hand-laid knitted fiberglass. Vacuum bagged Core-Cell™ composite and lamination give the 35 its unsurpassed strength and dependability. The hull is completely wood-free and has a three-piece configuration with a fully molded inner liner.

Island Runner® uses a Cook Isothalic fade and blister-resistant gelcoat and high quality vinylester resins to assure the longest life and finish of the hull. Each boat is backed by our 10-year hull warranty and one-year stem to stern warranty.

Deck & Cockpit

The 35 comes with an extensive list of amenities to satisfy any angler, diver or serious boater. The aft cockpit includes twin insulated fish boxes and spacious dry storage in the floor. A transom door is located to the starboard side of the 60-gallon transom-mounted livewell, with a service sink to the port. Additional livewells are available in the floor or the rocket launcher. The console is designed to be the ultimate command center, with wrap-around windscreen, plenty of dash space for flush-mounted electronics, and ergonomically-designed helm area with easy, protected access to all switches and accessories. Molded-in footrests and flexible control mounting locations minimize driver fatigue. On the front of the console is a fully-insulated day cooler. Inside the console, with six feet of headroom, is the fresh water-fed electric head, shower and sink. Unobstructed access to the back of the dash and electronics is provided. The foredeck has a large dry storage locker/insulated fish box and under-gunwale storage. All hatches are lockable, with deep gutters, rubber seals and gas springs.

Performance & Efficiency

Each 35 has an integral engine bracket placed at the optimum height for maximum stability and performance. Bolt on a pair of Mercury's new Verado 350 six-cylinder four-strokes and you will truly be amazed. You get the quietness of four-strokes with Mercury's DTS (digital throttle and shift) and power steering, making this package a pleasure to drive. Try 1.8 mpg at a 35 mph cruise and a top speed of over 60 mph! See our Performance Evaluation for additional specifics. The power, performance, agility and mileage are unmatched for a boat of this size. To really push the performance envelope, run 75+ mph with triple 350 Verados!

For those of you with a need for speed, bolt on that third outboard. You will truly be impressed with the increased acceleration and speed, without compromise to the boat's manners at low speeds or full throttle.

Configuration Options

The Flat Deck model provides a single deck level from bow to stern. Standard for the bow section of the Flat Deck model is a large single hatch with an oversized forward macerated fishbox with four inches of foam insulation and an insulatd hatch that will accommodate a coffin box. This model also features molded-in storage areas under the gunwales, port and starboard.

Family Seating is available for the 35 Flat Deck model. Molded fiberglass seating is mounted on the port and starboard sides of the bow. Each 5 ft. section contours to the curve of the inside gunnel and has a toe relief area. The front of the cockpit remains open for fishing and access to the anchor. A fiberglass insert can be installed to provide a complete "U"-style seating arrangement. This option also provides gasketed hatches in each seating section with dry storage beneath.

Pitchbait Livewells will eliminate trips to the main livewell when the bite is on! Each 4-gallon well is fully-pressurized with a clear gasketed, lockable lid and conveniently mounted in the forward cap (port, starboard or both). Pitchbait Livewells are provided with a dedicated 800gph pump and drain directly overboard.
